Specific Indemnity (Litigation Indemnity)
A standalone indemnity clause covering a named, identified risk (such as a pending lawsuit), separate from and not subject to the general warranty basket or cap.

Promoter of a Meerut sports goods manufacturer agrees to a specific indemnity for a pending ₹3 Cr trademark suit but successfully negotiates it as capped at the actual claim amount, not open-ended, and funded from a dedicated ₹3.3 Cr escrow rather than as a personal uncapped guarantee — ring-fencing the promoter's other assets from that one known risk.
